Founded and operated by Shane Magnuson, Upper Columbia Guide Service has offered outdoor enthusiast and first time anglers alike the ultimate experience since 2004.
Back in 2006 Shane pitched a tent and spent 8 days straight on the Columbia River in front of the Wind River with not even a bite. The ninth day … a 34 pound spring Chinook. Day ten … 2 limits. Hard work and dedication takes fishing to another level, and that is something we pride ourselves on. The ’77 Fiberform with no kicker and a few lawn chairs is long gone, but that first fish caught off cut-plug herring will never be forgotten. We provide a premier guided fishing service, and that is what makes memories.
